forlid says “Zaahen has no kill pressure early, and can only take you out if you walk into his auto attacks. Space him with your Q and dodge his W if possible. Zaahen has a quick gap closer with his E -> Q2, so be wary of that.
Zaahen is one of the best duelists later in the game and has terrifying teamfight presence. He scales well and kills you with ease after core items. Try to play with your carries and peel them as much as you can and you'll win.”

HoB? You will lose all trades. Just farm/soak xp till 6.
Conquerer? E start. You can obtain priority level 1 and shove cannon wave.

Zaahen can do both short and extended trades, making it tricky to go in. However, he cannot really out damage you. He will often look for a quick trade with W + Q2, making you unable to trade back. However, his W is very easily dodgeable and his Q2 is quite predictable.
Whenever you see Zaahen use his Q, walk back a bit. Once he used his Q2, it will be your window to go in.
After 6, try to save your ult for when he ults. This way, you can catch up to him, since his ult has quite a bit of range.”

He can close the distance very quickly with his E, and the pull from his W is somewhat buggy and seems to always hit. Combine that with the immense amount of damage the champion possesses just from being released, and you simply won't be able to play the laning phase.”
xumi_k says “You win early with stacked passive and poking him with minion Q + AA but he’s a lot better in teamfights/long trades in duels and outscales you later, he killed me with an item behind in late/mid game :3 It’s hard for him to stack his passive early, so try to punish it. Anti-heal is ok vs him. Need more experience cuz the champ is barely out.”

He can stick to you with his dash and pull and his healing makes it tough to win trades late in lane phase.
Ideally you have ignite and wait for your Jungler before you all in post 6.”

ScytherKhaZix says “Personally, I’d say this matchup is pretty average. Kha’Zix deals with him very well in early game and early mid game, but if Zaahen manages to hit his powerspike before you do, it’s better not to fight him”
